L’incontro tra Flavio Boltro, tra i trombettisti più conosciuti e apprezzati del jazz italiano e internazionale (ha suonato per sei anni al fianco di Michel Petrucciani), e il trio del pluripremiato pianista siciliano Dario Carnovale, grande virtuoso del suo strumento, considerato dalla critica uno dei migliori pianisti jazz capace al contempo di ammaliare con il suo lirismo o di travolgere con la sua dirompente energia, offre un viaggio espressivo ricco di emozioni attraverso la rilettura di standard jazz e di composizioni originali.
Ad accompagnare questi straordinari musicisti troviamo una ritmica d’eccezione: Lorenzo Conte al contrabbasso, già a fianco di Art Farmer, Bob Sheppard, Enrico Rava, e il batterista russo Sasha Mashin, musicista eclettico tra i più interessanti in Europa.

The encounter between Flavio Boltro, one of the best known and most appreciated trumpet players in Italian and international jazz scene (he played for six years with Michel Petrucciani), and the trio of the award-winning Sicilian pianist Dario Carnovale, a great virtuoso of his instrument, considered by critics to be one of the best jazz pianists capable of bewitching with his lyricism or overwhelming with his disruptive energy. An expressive journey full of emotions through the reinterpretation of jazz standards and original compositions. Accompanying these extraordinary musicians is an exceptional rhythm section: Lorenzo Conte on double bass, who played with Art Farmer, Bob Sheppard and Enrico Rava, and Russian drummer Sasha Mashin, one of the most interesting and eclectic musicians in Europe.
