Nick Mason, leggendario batterista dei Pink Floyd, arriva a Palmanova con un concerto che sarà un ritorno alle origini della mitica band, con la riproposizione di brani estratti dai dischi incisi dai Pink Floyd agli albori della loro lunga storia, con l’impronta dell’indimenticato Syd Barrett; con Mason una superband formata da: Gary Kemp degli Spandau Ballet, Lee Harris dei Blockheads, Guy Pratt (bassista dei Pink Floyd dal 1987) e il compositore Dom Beken.
Con questo progetto, Mason desidera «catturare lo spirito dell’epoca» e trasmetterlo al pubblico anche attraverso brani estratti da album storici come “The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn”, “Ummagumma” e, appunto, “A Saucerful Of Secrets”, ricordando l’indimenticabile performance del 1972 a Pompei, un capolavoro del rock psichedelico, tra le più rivoluzionarie sperimentazioni.

Nick Mason, Pink Floyd’s legendary drummer, in Palmanova with a concert that will be a return to the origins of the legendary band, with the re-proposition of tracks taken from the albums recorded by Pink Floyd at the dawn of their long history, with the imprint of the unforgettable Syd Barrett; with Mason a superband: Gary Kemp of Spandau Ballet, Lee Harris of the Blockheads, Guy Pratt (Pink Floyd bassist since 1987) and composer Dom Beken.
With this project, Mason wants to “capture the spirit of the era” and convey it to the public through songs from historic albums such as “The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn”, “Ummagumma” and, indeed, “A Saucerful Of Secrets”, recalling the unforgettable 1972 performance in Pompeii, a masterpiece of psychedelic rock and one of the most revolutionary experiments.

I biglietti per lo spettacolo sono acquistabili online sul circuito Ticketone e gli ultimi saranno messi in vendita alla biglietteria di Borgo Aquileia a partire dalle ore 19.30 il giorno stesso del concerto.

7.30 pm – Ticket office opening in Borgo Aquileia (accreditation, ticket purchase)
8.00 pm – Borgo Aquileia doors open (those who already have tickets can also enter from Borgo Udine gate)
9.30 pm – Nick Mason’s showtime
Tickets for the show can be purchased online at Ticketone.
The last allotment will be sold at the Borgo Aquileia ticket office starting at 7.30 pm on the day of the concert.

SOSTE E AREE PARCHEGGI
Sono a disposizione aree parcheggio dentro le mura in via Lion nell’ex Caserma Montezemolo (P5), in via Vallaresso (P6) e nell’ex Caserme Ederle (P7) di via Scamozzi.
In particolare, a partire dalle ore 18 e fino al termine del concerto, è sospesa la circolazione e la sosta:
– su Piazza Grande e tratti pedonali di Borgo Aquileia, Borgo Udine, Borgo Cividale
– sui primi tratti di Contrada Donato, Contrada Contarini e Contrada Savorgnan, dalla Piazza fino al primo anello.
PARKING AREAS
Parking areas are available inside the walls in Lion Street in the former Montezemolo Barracks (P5), in Vallaresso Street (P6) and in the former Ederle Barracks (P7) in Scamozzi Street.
From 6 p.m. until the end of the concert, traffic and parking is suspended:
– on Piazza Grande and pedestrian sections of Borgo Aquileia, Borgo Udine, Borgo Cividale
– on the first stretches of Contrada Donato, Contrada Contarini and Contrada Savorgnan, from the Piazza to the first ring.
