Dopo oltre 30 anni ininterrotti di carriera e di sodalizio artistico con Gil Dor, dopo una pandemia che ha sconvolto, scosso e spogliato il mondo, dopo migliaia di chilometri percorsi e molte altre migliaia di note suonate e cantate, cosa resta? Il profondo amore e rispetto di Noa per la musica e per la sua la grandezza, un profondo amore per l’umanità, che da essa prende vita ed è elevata e illuminata. Un profondo apprezzamento per il dono dell’amicizia e per il grande legame che la lega al suo storico chitarrista Gil Dor, descritto emozionalmente con il nuovo progetto “Afterallogy” uscito a maggio, il primo in chiave jazz – chitarra e voce – registrato durante i mesi di lockdown nello studio casalingo della cantante israeliana. Noa ha cantato nei luoghi simbolo del mondo, dalla Carnegie Hall alla Casa Bianca ed è stata la prima ebrea ad esibirsi in Vaticano; è stata nominata Cavaliere della Repubblica e Ambasciatrice israeliana dell’ONU per l’alimentazione e l’agricoltura. La sua carriera musicale l’ha vista esibirsi al fianco di Stevie Wonder, di Sting e altri nomi internazionali. La sua missione di “costruire ponti e abbattere i muri tra culture e religioni” passa attraverso il fascino della sua luminosa voce e la sua grande personalità musicale, che mescola armoniosamente jazz, rock americano e influenze mediorientali. Sul palco di Grado, con Noa e Gil, anche uno special guest: Ruslan Sirota al pianoforte, Grammy Award 2010, già nelle band di Stanley Clarke.

Noa and Gil have been working together for 30 years and after a pandemic which shattered, jolted and stripped the world bare, after thousands of kilometers travelled and many more thousands of notes played and sung, what remains? A deep love and respect for great music and the greatness in music, a deep love for the humanity that is brought to life by it and elevated and illuminated in whoever experiences it. A deep appreciation for the gift of friendship… for this unique partnership, for the power and resonance that brought and kept them together all these years. And that curiosity and passion, that meticulous quest to unveil the deepest mysteries of music that drives them always onwards. This is “Afterallogy”, released in May, their new project, the first in jazz – guitar and voice – recorded during the months of lockdown in the Israeli singer’s home studio. Noa has sung in iconic venues around the world, from Carnegie Hall to the White House and was the first Jew to perform at the Vatican; she was appointed Knight of the Republic and Israeli UN Ambassador for Food and Agriculture. She performed alongside Stevie Wonder, Sting and other international names. Her mission to “build bridges and break down walls between cultures and religions” passes through the charm of her luminous voice and her great musical personality, which harmoniously mixes jazz, American rock and Middle Eastern influences. On Grado stage, with Noa and Gil, a special guest: Ruslan Sirota on piano, Grammy Award 2010, formerly in Stanley Clarke’s bands.

Nach mehr als 30 Jahren ununterbrochener Karriere und künstlerischer Partnerschaft mit Gil Dor, nach einer Pandemie, die die Welt schockiert, erschüttert und entkleidet hat, nach Tausenden von zurückgelegten Kilometern und noch viel mehr Tausenden von gespielten und gesungenen Noten, was bleibt? Noas tiefe Liebe und Respekt für die Musik und ihre Größe, eine tiefe Liebe für die Menschheit, die durch sie zum Leben erweckt und durch sie erhoben und erleuchtet wird. Eine tiefe Wertschätzung für das Geschenk der Freundschaft und für das große Band, das sie mit ihrem historischen Gitarristen Gil Dor verbindet, emotional beschrieben mit dem neuen Projekt “Afterallogy”, das im Mai veröffentlicht wurde, dem ersten in einer Jazz-Tonart – Gitarre und Stimme – aufgenommen während der monatelangen Einschließung im Heimstudio der israelischen Sängerin. Noa sang an berühmten Orten auf der ganzen Welt, von der Carnegie Hall bis zum Weißen Haus, und war die erste Jüdin, die im Vatikan auftrat; sie wurde zum Ritter der Republik ernannt und ist israelische UN-Botschafterin für Ernährung und Landwirtschaft. In ihrer musikalischen Karriere trat sie neben Stevie Wonder, Sting und anderen internationalen Namen auf. Ihre Mission, “Brücken zu bauen und die Mauern zwischen den Kulturen und Religionen niederzureißen”, geht durch den Charme ihrer leuchtenden Stimme und ihrer großen musikalischen Persönlichkeit, die Jazz, amerikanischen Rock und nahöstliche Einflüsse harmonisch mischt. Auf der Grado-Bühne, mit Noa und Gil, auch ein besonderer Gast: Ruslan Sirota am Piano, Grammy Award 2010, früher in Stanley Clarkes Bands..
