Un notissimo giornalista ha coniato per loro la definizione di “fanfara urbana”, molto calzante per il gruppo torinese, che fa della città il suo sfondo ideale e della strada non solo lo scenario in cui esibirsi, ma anche il luogo da cui trarre ispirazione.
Bandakadabra è una surreale “pocket orchestra”, che ha suonato, tra gli altri, anche con Goran Bregovic, capace di affrontare qualsiasi linguaggio musicale con una travolgente verve comico-teatrale. E se la musica è davvero cibo per l’anima, perché non consegnarla proprio come il cibo? Casa per casa, strada per strada, piazza per piazza. Uno spettacolo itinerante e coinvolgente che animerà gli angoli più belli di Grado e farà venire desiderio di ballare a tutti! Perché la musica non è in un luogo. La musica è un luogo.

Ein bekannter Journalist prägte für sie die Definition ” Urban Band”, was sehr passend ist für diese Gruppe aus Turin, die die Stadt zu ihrer idealen Kulisse macht und die Straße nicht nur zum Schauplatz, an dem sie auftreten, sondern auch zum Ort, aus dem sie Inspiration schöpfen. Bandakadabra ist ein surreales “Taschenorchester”, das u.a. mit Goran Bregovic gespielt hat und in der Lage ist, jede musikalische Sprache mit einer überwältigenden komisch-theatralischen Verve zu behandeln. Und wenn Musik wirklich Nahrung für die Seele ist, warum sollte man sie dann nicht einfach wie Essen ausliefern? Haus für Haus, Straße für Straße, Platz für Platz. Eine reisende und mitreißende Show, die die schönsten Ecken von Grado beleben und alle zum Tanzen bringen wird! Denn Musik ist nicht an einem Ort. Musik ist ein Ort.
